Statistics:

Route Numbering:

General Information:

State Route 32 is considerably shorter than it once was, when it was given the SR32 number. It used to extend along the current M5 corridor for Mount Coot-Tha Road, Western Freeway and Centenary Highway. When Metroads were introduced to Brisbane back in the 1990s, Metroad 5 was given to Mount Coot-Tha Road, Western Freeway and Centenary Highway, thus shortening the length of State Route 32.

The route is a 4 lane suburban arterial road, which can sometimes be heavily congested. The are it passes through is mostly residential, however some commercial buildings exist as well as the historic XXXX brewery.

Milton Road is a major corridor for traffic between the Brisbane central business district and the western suburbs.
