General Information:

B82 is the continuation of Main North Road which runs from North Adelaide to outside of Port Augusta. Main North Road, as the name suggests is a major thoroughfare through Adelaide's metropolitan area, the town of Gawler and onto South Australia's Flinders Ranges.

The B82 section of Main North Road is entirely rural road / rural highway standard and passes through a number of small farming towns. The B84 duplex is for a few metres in the town of Auburn. The B64 duplex (Goyder / Clare Hwy) is at Gulnare for 2 km.

History:

• May 2005: re-alignment of road surface curves and the sealing of the existing shoulder, between Templers and Tarlee.1
