Tourist Drive 3 is the shortest tourist drive in the ACT and it's main attractions include Australian War Memorial, Mount Pleasant Lookout, Duntroon Military College, Anzac Parade, Mount Ainslie Lookout, and the Australian-American Memorial.
Much of the route is of a high standard, including Fairbairn Avenue, which was updated in the last couple of years. Pavement configurations include divided carriageways (2 & 4 lanes) and also single carriageway roadway. Roads used include Anzac Parade, Constitution Avenue, Russell Drive, Morshead Drive, Fairbairn Avenue, Treloar Crescent and Limestone Avenue.
Tourist Drive 3 is multiplexed with Tourist Drive 1 along Constitution Avenue in Campbell and Russell Drive in Russell. It is also multiplexed with Alternate National Route 23 - Morshead Drive at Pialligo.
