Tourist Drive 3 -
ANZAC Memorial Loop
The ACT doesn't have a lot of numbered routes, apart from major highways running through it. It does however have 7 tourist drives to enable visitors an easy drive to each attraction.
Tourist Drive 3 is the shortest tourist drive in the ACT and it's main attractions include Australian War Memorial, Mount Pleasant Lookout, Duntroon Military College, Anzac Parade, Mount Ainslie Lookout, and the Australian-American Memorial. The route takes in the suburbs of Reid, Campbell and Pialligo.
Much of the route is of a high standard, including Fairbairn Avenue, which was updated in the last couple of years. Pavement configurations include dividied carriageways (2 & 4 lanes) and also single carriageway roadway. Roads used include Anzac Parade, Constitution Avenue, Russell Drive, Morshead Drive, Fairbairn Avenue, Treloar Crescent and Limestone Avenue.

Kangaroo Warning Sign
Kangaroos are a significant traffic hazard in the ACT, and many roads with isolated stretches have these signs. It's not uncommon to see kangaroos any time of the day in just about any part of the suburbs. July 2006, eastbound at Campbell. This area was where the once proposed Monash Drive arterial road was once planned to intersect.
