Tuggeranong Parkway

Constructed in the 1970's, the Tuggeranong Parkway and acts as a major route for the ACT's western and south-western suburbs in the Woden and Tuggeranong Valleys.

Commencing at the intersection of Parkes Way and William Hovell Drive at the Glenloch Interchange at the base of Black Mountain, it passes through the suburbs of Curtin, Weston, Lyons, Warramanga and Fisher, where it joins Drakeford Drive at Sulwood Drive for the run to southern ACT forests and suburbs.

Taken from the Hindmarsh Drv interchange, this photo is looking northbound. Note the hand painted 100 km/h sign. Handpainted signs were once very common in the ACT.
