New South Wales Road Photo Gallery:
Illawarra Tourist Drive 10

Tourist Drive 10 takes in a long distance of roads through the Illawarra area south of Sydney. These roads include Old Princes Highway, Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Princes Highway, Bourke Street, Corrimal Street, Springhill Road, Five Islands Road, Military Road, Church Street, Illawarra Street, Northcliffe Drive, Primbee Deviation, Windang Road, Shellharbour Road & Tabbitta Road.

The route takes in the Wollongong suburbs of Helensburgh, Stanwell Top,s Coalcliff, Coledale, Austinmer, Thirroul, Bulli, Wollongong, Port Kembla, Shellharbour and many others.

The northern terminus is with the F6 Southern Freeway (NR1) at Waterfall and the southern terminus is at the SR151 / Shellharbour / Tabitta Road interchange with the Princes Highway (NR1) at Dunmore.

This section concentrates solely on TD10, not any of the sections duplexed with other routes. TD duplexes with SR60, which is here and also SR151, which can be found here. If you wish to see a map, click here.

Unusual Slippery Sign
This sign is used to warn of slippery conditions caused by fallen leaves on the roadway. Note the main south coast railway to the right. This section was electrified in 1988. December 2005, Stanwell Park.

Unusual Sign
Because of the winding nature of the roadway south of the town centre of Coalcliff, some trucks and long vehicles may be reversing on the curves, so this sign is used to warn of this situation. December 2005 at Coalcliff.
