Metroad 1 (Warringah Freeway)
The Warringah Freeway (originally
called the Warringah Freeway) was constructed in
stages between 1968 and 1978 and runs from the Bradfield
Highway / Pacific Highway Junction at Milson's Point
in Sydney to Gore Hill Freeway / Willoughby Road Junction
at Naremburn.
The freeway used to feature a reversible
section before the opening of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel
(M1) and features several lanes in both directions.
