Metroad 2 is the major route from Sydney to the north
west. It was introduced in November 1993 and has its
origins at the junction with the Gore Hill Freeway & Pacific Highway at Artarmon,
and travels along Epping Road through Lane Cove, onto the M2 Hills
Motorway to Seven Hills in Sydney's North West and then
duplexes with State Route 40 to it's terminating point
at the corner of Windsor Road and Bridge and Macquarie
Streets, Windsor.
