Metroad 2 (Windsor Road & Old Windsor Road)
Metroad 2 along Old Windsor Road at Seven Hills in
Sydney's North West duplexes with State Route 40 until
Metroad 2 reaches it's terminating point at the corner
of Windsor Road and Bridge and Macquarie Streets, Windsor.
The route is predominently dual carriageway these days
after a massive upgrading in the last few years, and
is heavy trafficked by residents along the entire route,
especially those in the recently built 'McMansion' suburbs.

Seven
Hills Road Intersection
This is the intersection with Seven Hills Road at Kings
Langley. This intersection has an interesting history.
Back in the 1970s, the then DMR installed traffic signals
here, then in the late 80s or early 90s, they were replaced
with a roundabout, then the traffic congestion got a
point that the roundabout was then installed with signals
that operated in periods of high traffic, and then in
2002 or 2003 the RTA installed full-time signals at
the intersection again! This image is from October 2005.
