National Highway 39 (Newell Highway) (Former Alignment: Dubbo)

This page shows former the former alignment of the Newell Highway through Dubbo, namely Darling Street.

The Newell Highway was rerouted around the CBD to reduce heavy vehicle access to the centre of the business area in January 1993. Some remants still exist along the route showing that it was once the highway.

The current route uses Erskine & Whylandra Streets.
