State Route 69 South (Campbelltown to Bulli Tops)

State Route 69 is in 2 sections, north (Windsor to Singleton) and south (Campbelltown to Bulli Tops). It used to be one continuous route until the introduction of Metroad 9 in 1998, which replaced SR 69 between Windsor and Curran's Hill near Campbelltown.

The northern terminus of this section is at the Hume Highway interchange just outside Campbelltown. This interchange is the terminus from State Route 69 South, National Highway 31 (Hume Hwy), Metroad 5 (South Eastern Freeway) & Metroad 9 (Narellan Road).

This section of road passes through Campbelltown (and its southern suburbs) and Appin. The route also skirts Cataract Dam before terminating with the Southern Freeway (NR1) / Princes Highway (SR60) interchange at Bulli Tops on the top of the Illawarra Escarpment.

The section between Appin and Bulli Tops has had numerous upgrades over the years, especially during the late 1980s and early 90s, to add more overtaking opportunities, provide a wider road corridor and safer bends. Roads along the route include Narellan Road, Appin Road, Bull-Appin Road. Towns along the route include Campbelltown and Appin.
