State Route 89 (Casula to Yanderra (near Bargo)): Former Alignments

State Route 89 is more less a good chunk of the old Hume Highway from near the Liverpool area to near the Mittagong area (NSW Southern Highlands).

Large swathes of the route is declared as Remembrance Driveway, in memory of fallen war heroes. The route takes in Camden Valley Way, Narellan Road, Camden By-Pass, Old Hume Highway and Remembrance Driveway.

SR89 passes through many towns including Casula, Leppington, Narellan, Camden, Picton and Bargo.

Old Concrete Alignment
Looking northeast on just off Camden Valley Way and Narellan Road (Metroad 9) at Narellan, October 2006. This is Sharman Close, of which consists of an old alignment of the Hume Highway, this is one of the original concrete pavements used along the route, some of which are still in use as Camden Valley Way further northeast at Leppington.
