Welcome to the New South Wales Road Photo Gallery : Tourist Drives.

Tourist drives are designed to link areas of geographic or historical importance. They are signified by a brown spade shaped shield and have white numbers and border. In some cases tourist drives have replaced routes that where once National Routes or Highways, after they were by-passed. Such as parts of the Hume Highway in NSW Southern Highlands. This is because the route is part of the history of the area, linking historically significant areas together.
