National Route 13 (Mount Lindesay Highway / Beaudesert Road)

The Mount Lindesay Highway is a highway in Queensland which has been given the national route number 13 and also state route 91 south of Beaudesert. It runs from Brisbane, where it leaves Ipswich Road in the suburb of Moorooka, to the New South Wales border where it becomes the Mount Lindesay Road.

The highway used to extend to Tenterfield but that section of the road, which included some unpaved portions, was decommissioned as a highway by the New South Wales Government.

It is named after Mount Lindesay, the residue of a solidified magma core, that is part of the Mount Warning volcanic area and is situated in the western extreme of Border Ranges National Park.

More Freeway Green Signage
A rarity in NSW, but abundant on limited access roads in many parts of Queensland. Freeway green signs are very rare in NSW due to a much larger signage budget than what is allocated in QLD.
