Queensland Road Photo Gallery:
State Route 8
State route 8 is made up of several roads: Maroochydore
Road, Horton Parade, Maud Street, Sugar Road, Mooloolaba
Road, King Street, Main Street, Burnett Street and Crosby
Hill Road.
The route's northern terminus is at the interchange
with the Bruce Highway (NH-M1), Maroochydore Road (SR8)
and Nambour Connection Road (TD21 & former Bruce
Highway) at Woombye and the southern terminus is at
the interchange with the Sunshine Motorway (SR70), University
Drive and Crosby Hill Road (SR8) at Sippy Downs, all
on the Sunshine Coast, north of Brisbane.
The road varies from rural road to main road to arterial
and suburban road conditions and passes through the
communities of Forest Glen, Kunda Park, Maroochydore,
and Buderim.
