(Northern Highway)
The Northern Highway services country
regions in the centre of Victoria and more or less
covers almost the full length of the state, north to
south.
The route duplexes for around 2km
with A300, the Midland Highway at Elmore, and heads
north (duplexes with the Murray Valley Highway at Echuca
(B400) and eventually terminates at Ehuca, at the NSW-
Vic Border and continues on in NSW at National Route
75 (Cobb Highway). The southern terminus is at the
junction of the Hume Freeway (NH-M31) at Wallan, north
of Melbourne.
Towns the route travels through include:
Echuca, Strathallan, Ballandella, Rochester, Elmore,
Runnymede, Creek View, Toolleen, Knowsley, Lady's Pass,
Heathcote, Argyle, Tooborac, Pyalong, High Camp, Forbes,
Kilmore and Wallan.
