Road East)
A rural road, C722, services the developing
and farming areas of the outskirts of North Melbourne,
and connects several major roads to other major roads
and freeways.
The eastern terminus of the route
is with Epping-Kilmore Road (C729) & Lehmanns Road
at Wollert and the western terminus is with Mickelham
Road (C739) at Craigieburn. The route is typical single
carriageway country road with divided multilane sections
at the M31 (Hume Fwy) interchange at Craigieburn.
