Interesting Sign Goof
In Tamworth NSW, the RTA recently decided to update the signage on NR34 (Oxley Hwy) and SR95 (Manilla Road), unfortunately the contractors or RTA used the wrong route markers, in this instance using a state route shield instead of a national route and on signs mentioning SR 95, they used a Metroad shield. This particular sign doesn't not match the one it's 10 metres away from on distances. Taken April 2004.

Updated Signage on Oxley Highway
During 2004, the RTA updated a host of signs in the Tamworth CBD, and stuffed every route sheild on them, so there's about 20 signs that are wrong.

Tourist Signage with incorrect font
This sign marks the entrance to the University of New England at Armidale NSW. Found on the old highway (Kentucky Street) the font used on this sign is Transport Heavy, which is used in the UK on their signs. This sign was removed in May 2005.
