Seen better days this was once a main route which is now council maintained. It looks like the route number was added sometime after the sign was installed and the coverplate is a lot newer than the sign, but more than 15 years old. Taken 2004.

Removed in 2003, this old relic was found Northbound on the corner of the Hume Highway, Henry Lawson Drive and Woodville Road Lansdowne at the intersection known by Sydney-siders as the "Meccano Set", a photo of which is located in the traffic signal gallery. The national route status was removed several years before the sign was removed. The route was relocated to the M5 motorway.
