Old Pre-Metric Curve Speed Advsory
Found in all Australian states before 1975, this was once the sign used to advise drivers of a safe speed on a corner.

Old School Children Sign
These are still in use throughout Tamworth, suprisingly not replaced with a pictogram version.

Priority Road Cross Junction Sign
This sign was still in use mid 2004 and is nowadays treated as a normal instersection sign. It was once used to tell drivers that vehicles entering from this road were facing either a stop or give way sign.

Old Residential Area Sign
Installed in the 60s and 70s, these signs appeared in several locations across NSW. Used to remind motorists of children playing in the area

Unusual Merge Sign
Unsure if this is a council sign or a relic from days gone by, but an interesting find anyway. Found in the NSW Southern Highlands on State Route 79, Southbound between Mittagong and Bowral.

This sign was still in use mid 2004 and is nowadays treated as a normal instersection sign. It was once used to tell drivers that vehicles entering from this road were facing either a stop or give way sign. Taken on State Route 89 / Rememberance Drove (Old Hume Highway) at Avon Dam Road (which leads to current Hume Highway (F5 / NH 31), Bargo.

Old Stock Crossing Sign
This old stock crossing sign was still in use mid 2004, and is the predecessor to the the current cow sign seen in most places these days. This sign is non-reflective (painted) and still on its original wooden post.
